Each year, the Chicago Tribune partners with Workplace Dynamic, a company specializing in workplace surveys, to identify the best companies in the Chicagoland area. Employees complete a 24-question survey on the company’s direction, execution, career opportunities, conditions, managers, and pay and benefits. The results of these anonymous surveys are compiled and used to calculate the top work places.
