CAROL STREAM, IL – Antunes, a family owned and operated company specializing in the manufacturing of foodservice equipment, raised $47,000 for its corporate charity partner Splash through the company’s annual golf outing, held September 9, 2016. Splash is a nonprofit organization that brings clean water to children throughout the world.
“The golf outing is an annual highlight for our team members and partners — providing the opportunity to connect outside the office while raising money for an important cause,” said Jane Antunes Bullock, vice president of administration with Antunes. “Our partnership with Splash continues to be a source of pride for Antunes, and we are thrilled that this year’s event raised the highest amount to date for the organization.”
Over the years, the annual golf outing has raised a total of nearly $150,000 to assist Splash in its efforts to provide access to clean water. Antunes also supports Splash on an ongoing basis through financial donations from other corporate initiatives and events, such as The Splash Effect of World Water Day.
In addition to these contributions, Antunes also serves as a valued product supplier for Splash. The organization has purchased and installed more than 1,140 of the company’s water filtration systems that provide clean water to more than 377,000 people each day. The reliable water filtration systems from Antunes provide the necessary means to generate clean water, utilizing Splash’s established networks to complete the installation projects in a timely manner and manage the projects on an ongoing basis.
