Feel confident in the water coming from your faucet with a household reverse osmosis system.
Have you ever thought about what exactly is in your water? With a residential reverse osmosis system, there’s no need to wonder any more because the only thing that gets through to your system is crisp, clean water. The Antunes Water Reverse Osmosis system significantly reduces impurities from your water so you can trust the water in your home is the best quality for drinking and cooking every day.
Installing a residential reverse osmosis system in your home has many benefits for your family’s well-being. The main advantage of a household water system is the assurance of clean and safe drinking water for you and your loved ones. Reverse osmosis effectively removes contaminants, including fluoride, nitrates, dissolved solids, heavy metals, and organic chemicals, ensuring that the water you drink is free from potential health risks. This is particularly important for children, the elderly, and individuals with compromised immune systems, who may be more vulnerable to waterborne illnesses.
Additionally, having a household water system means your family can enjoy refreshing, great-tasting water right at home, encouraging everyone to stay hydrated and maintain a healthy lifestyle. By providing a constant supply of high quality water, a residential reverse osmosis system offers peace of mind and promotes the overall well-being of your family.
In your household, many impurities are present in the water coming from your faucet. Our household RO system is highly effective at removing a wide range of contaminants, including chlorine, chromium, cadmium, lead, nitrate and copper, along with fluoride, nitrates, and many other impurities. This means the water produced by our household RO water purifier is cleaner, fresher and tastes better than regular tap water.
What is Reverse Osmosis?
Reverse osmosis is the process using pressure to push water through a semipermeable membrane to remove contaminants and produce fresher, cleaner water. While the technology was originally invented in 1959, advancements in residential reverse osmosis systems have produced the dependable, high-quality household RO water purifiers we rely on today.
At Antunes, we designed our household water technology to be compact enough to fit under household sinks, and it comes with a dedicated faucet. It is the best system available on the market today for your residential reverse osmosis needs and is quick and easy to maintain. Our compact household RO system is thorough in removing lead, chlorine, and even new, emerging contaminants, so you can trust you’re giving your family the safest, freshest water possible every day.
Better for Your Health:
By removing these harmful contaminants, our residential RO system helps ensure that the water you and your family consumes is safe and free from any potential health risks. It provides an extra layer of protection against contaminants that may be present in your local water supply, meaning your water is healthier, cleaner and fresher.
Convenience and Cost Savings:
Having a reverse osmosis system at home means you no longer need to buy bottled water for drinking and cooking. In fact, the water from a household reverse osmosis system is better in quality than bottled water. Having a household RO system will lead to significant cost savings in the long run given the high price of bottled water. It also eliminates the need to carry heavy water bottles from the store and helps reduce plastic waste. Additionally, our household RO water purifier systems use less energy compared to other water treatment methods, making them a more environmentally friendly choice.
With a household reverse osmosis system, your water passes through five stages of filters, ensuring that each contaminant is removed before it gets to you and your family. Antunes’ residential RO system provides the highest-quality water and delivers it straight to your fingertips every day.
5-Stage Filtration Process:
Antunes Water’s household RO water purifier provides a 5-stage filtration process that produces a higher level of quality than more common 3-stage filtration systems. Our residential RO system is one of the few systems available that are NSF/ANSI tested and certified, giving you peace of mind about its level of performance.
During the first stage, the water enters a sediment filter that removes larger particles and reduces sediment solids. Sand, silt, rust, dirt, and other suspended solids are captured within the filter. The larger particles get trapped on the surface of the filter while the filtered water passes through. Sediment filters help improve the clarity and appearance of water. Sediment can make water look cloudy or murky; by eliminating these particles, your water becomes clearer.
The water then passes through two separate carbon filters that effectively reduce or remove various impurities from the water, such as chlorine, chloramine, herbicides, pesticides, industrial solvents and certain pharmaceuticals, along with odors and flavors.
Next, the water is further purified as it passes through a specialized membrane for reducing dissolved solids. These membranes have extremely tiny pores that are small enough to block the passage of most dissolved substances. The final stage is a carbon filter, which further removes impurities and leaves the water with a great taste.
