After quotes of $10,000 to $12,000 for a filter system by national companies to filter out colloidal clay from our new well, I was able to install this system myself with basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical. It continues to work flawlessly without maintenance! Its backwash system keeps the filter clean. I did add a Big Blue water filter to the system that I change every 6 months.
